A strategic U.S. expansion is underway for Carandini. The Italian vinegar producer brings its artisanal products—including its newest Italian Cheese Dressing—to Whole Foods Market and Fresh Market.
Combining two of Northern Italy’s agri-foods—Parmigiano Reggiano PDO and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI—the Italian Cheese Dressing is one of Carandini’s innovative products. According to a release, the product is endorsed by the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium.
As the company noted, this dressing is a Carandini-patented recipe that celebrates the excellence of the Emilia-Romagna region. It pairs well with salad, risotto and pasta, meat, and even desserts! Interesting to see what could be done with the salty tang of the dressing.
The company’s signature products are all made in Modena, Italy. Regulated by the Consortium for the Protection of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, each product must meet specific guidelines before it is ready for distribution to ensure consistency, quality, and authenticity.
