It’s been about 20 years since I last visited Las Vegas, Nevada, and I’m excited to say I will be returning to the city next week for the Specialty Food Association’s Winter Fancy Food Show (WFFS). As the excitement builds, I got in touch with Carr Valley Cheese Company’s Elle Fearing, National Sales and Marketing Representative, who shared all the details about the supplier’s upcoming showcase.
“We will exhibit a large selection of our products, including frying up our famous Bread Cheese®; sheep, goat, and mixed milk cheeses; and our award-winning blue cheese line,” Elle began. “We are focusing on showing our extensive capabilities at our Mauston facility, where we make Fontina, Gouda, and most of our sheep, goat, and mixed milk line. We also won a few big awards in 2022, including Best USA Cheese Outright at the International Cheese Awards with Gran Canaria, so we’re excited to highlight and show those winners off!”
As Elle explained, WFFS is an excellent event that hosts top vendors from all over the world. Additionally, it’s a great way to network. The Carr Valley team is looking forward to sitting down with current and potential customers to discuss their needs and goals for 2023. With a new addition at the supplier’s Mauston plant, it now has the capacity and ability to work on fresh, new products.
“We want attendees to leave our booth knowing the true essence of Carr Valley: high-quality artisan-made cheese, a supportive sales team, and a long-standing history of excellence. We also love giving attendees easy pairing ideas and recipe applications. We never get tired of customers coming by our booth and saying our cheese was their favorite of the day!” Elle told me.
On a final note, Elle added that the Carr Valley team is excited to leave the cold of Wisconsin in January to do their favorite thing…talk cheese!
“We look forward to the show every year and have so much fun. We would love for you to visit our booth #844,” she concluded.
Be sure to link up with this Wisconsin cheesemaker next week at the Winter Fancy Food Show. Maybe I’ll see you there!
