The early bird gets the worm and though the 2020 CheeseExpo, sponsored by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA), may seem a ways off, exhibit spaces will soon become available. Any companies interested in showcasing their wares can register for exhibit space starting on Tuesday, September 10, but booths go quickly, so act now or forever hold your peace.
“CheeseExpo is the dairy processing industry’s premier event, with more than 4,000 people attending,” said Events Director Judy Keller. “We offer unparalleled opportunity for suppliers to connect with their clients and contact prospects, part of the reason our exhibit hall is always fully occupied.”
The hotly anticipated event, formerly known as the International Cheese Technology Expo, will be held in 2020 at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, from April 14-16. Next year’s Expo will feature an expanded exhibit hall, allowing for more than 300 companies to showcase their technology, equipment, and services.
Aside from the exciting exhibits, CheeseExpo offers attendees networking events and educational seminars, hosted by WCMA and the Center for Dairy Research, and their partner organizations including the U.S. Dairy Export Council; Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy; Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin; Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection; and more.
“Nowhere else in the world will you find the collection of cutting-edge equipment, quality services, and industry insight that CheeseExpo delivers, and we encourage you to make plans to join us,” said Keller, in a press release.
Booth reservation times are set by priority points, accumulated by participation in past WCMA events. All companies who wish to exhibit must be WCMA members before reservations can be made. Established exhibitors can check their assigned reservation times now on the event website, CheeseExpo.org. Space is claimed quickly, so it is encouraged that prospective exhibitors mark their calendars and visit the website to review the live show floor plan.
Time is of the essence for more than just exhibitors, as attendance is expected to be high. Anyone interested in attending should note that hotel rooms go fast. Special event rates for hotels must be booked through the official online housing system on the event’s website. Reservations for the block will not be accepted directly through the hotels.
