It was recently revealed that CLO-CLO™ Vegan Foods has released its new plant-based shrimp entrée bowls and a mac & cheeze bowl to meet heightening demand for plant-based frozen entrée meals.

According to a press release, the plant-based shrimp is based off of the konjac root, which gives the shrimp the texture, look, and taste of traditional shrimp. The launch includes four new products:

  • Red Curry Shrimp Bowl - Plant-based shrimp and zucchini with basmati rice in a zesty Indian style red curry sauce
  • Mac and Cheeze Bowl - Red lentil shell pasta with a creamy “cheddar” cheeze sauce
  • Hawaiian Inspired Shrimp Bowl - Plant-based shrimp with red and green pepper over basmati rice in a teriyaki pineapple sauce
  • Shrimp Alfredo Bowl - Plant-based shrimp with broccoli and gluten-free pasta in a rich alfredo-style sauce

All four of the new bowls are made without the top eight allergens—dairy, egg, soy, shellfish, fish, peanuts, gluten, and tree nuts—and have zero cholesterol. The delicious new products are available exclusively in the frozen department at Sprouts Farmers Market.
