The makers of COLUMBUS® Craft Meats are ensuring they don’t miss out on the upcoming holiday sales boom, releasing a bevy of new offerings to satisfy seasonal demand. From new Charcuterie Trios to an updated version of its best-selling Charcuterie Tasting Board, the brand has something to appeal to every shopper this holiday season.
"We've curated the perfect salumi combinations to enhance tasting experiences both at home and on the go this holiday season," said Sean McNeil, Senior Brand Manager. "There's truly something for everyone. Our 12-ounce Charcuterie Trio remains the best-selling items in the dry deli category, so extending the offerings to include other options was a natural fit. During the 2022 holiday season, our Charcuterie Tasting Board was the best-selling item in our portfolio, so the new COLUMBUS Tour of Italy Tasting Board is an exciting addition for consumers."
First up on the list of seasonal innovations is the COLUMBUS Rustic Charcuterie Trio, which offers authentic traditional flavors featuring Sopressata Salame, Prosciutto, and uncured Coppa. The COLUMBUS Bold Charcuterie Trio, on the other hand, delivers vibrant flavor with Hot Sopressata, uncured Hot Coppa, and uncured Chorizo. Both Trios are available at retailers nationwide, including Target, HyVee, Albertsons, Safeway, and Savemart.
The supplier is also expanding its portfolio with the addition of four new COLUMBUS Craft Nuts varieties set to level up any charcuterie board or snacking occasion—especially when served alongside the brand’s premium salumi and artisan cheese. The new varieties include:
Bringing even more excitement to the charcuterie space, the COLUMBUS Tour of Italy Tasting Board invites consumers on a culinary journey through Italy, delighting shoppers with a premium selection of Italian craft meats, cheeses, and accompaniments.
Last but certainly not least, the specialty brand is ensuring maximum sales this season with the reintroduction of its popular COLUMBUS Secchi Salame. Secchi Salame is an ultra-premium salami featuring the flavors of crushed white and black peppercorns and burgundy wine, boasting a subtle, smooth flavor that embodies the authentic taste of Italy, a press release explained. Made with the finest ingredients and a commitment to tradition, this salami is one of the brand's oldest recipes and a testament to over 100 years of expertise in crafting exceptional charcuterie.
