In Las Vegas, Nevada, attendees of the 2023 Winter Fancy Food Show can get a taste of Wisconsin and its famous cheese by stopping at booth #817. There, Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin will be hosting several of the state’s dairy companies that will share their products and cheesemaking traditions.
Those who stop at the booth will be able to sample more than 600 varieties and styles of cheese produced in Wisconsin, otherwise known as the State of Cheese. According to a release, those on the show floor will also get insights into the cheesemaking process that makes Wisconsin cheese so popular, awarded, and profitable.
Among the companies that will be at the booth are Crave Brothers Farmstead Creamery, Pine River, Specialty Cheese Co., and more.
In addition to sampling cheese, attendees can also learn about Wisconsin’s launch of a comprehensive continuing education program that will help strengthen the American cheese industry. Cheese State University is a retail training platform designed to help cheese professionals gain a deeper understanding of the cheese industry while building a network of connections to advance their careers.
