Danone’s leadership assembly is complete as it recently announced three new appointments to its C-suite. Three globally recognized professionals make up the new appointment as the company names Vikram Agarwal, Isabelle Esser, and Henri Bruxelles as the Chief Operations Officer; Chief Research, Innovation, Quality, and Food Safety Officer; and Chief Sustainability and Strategic Business Development Officer, respectively.
Agarwal will be taking up the reins as the Chief Operations Officer. In this capacity, he will be in charge of Cycles and Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain and will further strengthen the performance of Danone’s operations. He will also be appointed as the End-to-end Design To Delivery coordinator.
Building on a 33-year international career leading procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain functions in consumer goods, Agarwal joins Danone starting January 2022.
Danone’s Chief Research, Innovation, Quality, and Food Safety Officer role has been appointed to Esser. Esser will manage Danone’s science, innovation, quality, and product superiority agenda across categories. She brings over 25 years of experience in leading research and development functions in consumer goods. Collectively, she has 30 years of experience in consumer goods and B2B international expertise.
Esser will join the company in this role starting from April 2022.
Rounding out the appointment spree, Danone’s current Chief Operating Officer, End-to-end Design To Delivery will now take on the role as the Chief Sustainability and Strategic Business Development Officer. Bruxelles will bring sustainability back to the heart of Danone’s business delivery and performance, according to the release.
Bruxelles will also be in charge of identifying, assessing, and exploring new and sustainable growth opportunities, from geographic, category, and business model perspectives.
He has been with Danone since 1987, and he will be leading this function starting from January 2022.
