More and more plant-based products are making their way onto retail shelves and into consumers’ baskets. As consumers continue to shift their dietary preferences, industry movers and shakers like Danone are rolling out new products to meet rising demand. Recently, the company’s So Delicious Dairy Free is upping the ante with a new portfolio of thoughtfully crafted, plant-based cheese alternatives.
According to the release, So Delicious’ new Plant-Based Slices, Shreds, and Spreads are all dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and Non-GMO Project Verified. The slices, shreds, and spreads are creamy, smooth, and melt to perfection.
So Delicious’ Slices and Shreds were introduced to the refrigerated aisle nationwide in mid-January, and Cream Cheese Style Spreads are launching in March 2021. The Plant-Based Shreds come in Cheddar, Mexican, and Mozzarella style shreds, while the Plant-Based Slices are available in American and Cheddar styles. Consumers will find the Cream Cheese Style Spreads in Creamy Original and Chive & Onion Cream Cheese varieties.
New So Delicious Plant-Based Slices and reformulated Shreds (MSRP $4.99 each) are available now at select grocery retailers including Target, Walmart, H-E-B, Hy-Vee, Hannaford, Market Basket, Fresh Thyme Market, and Stop & Shop.
