Expansion to the plant-based shelf is continuing to happen thanks to Daring Foods. The plant-based brand expanded its business into a whole new category of Frozen Prepared Entrées at the recent Expo West, debuting Daring Plant Chicken Teriyaki Bowls, Fajita Bowls, Penne Primavera Pasta Bowls, and Autumn Harvest Bowls. Continuing to innovate the current line of products, the brand also debuted its latest Plant Chicken Pieces in Teriyaki, which launched this past January, as well as Buffalo Plant Chicken Wings, which are launching this May.
“We’re thrilled to launch Daring’s new frozen prepared entrées exclusively at Expo West,” said Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Ross Mackay ahead of the event. “We’ve been working hard at innovating our current product line and are excited to announce our expansion into a new category. We can’t wait for attendees to check out these new meals, in addition to the newest flavors of our classic Plant Chicken Pieces.”
According to the release, Daring’s new line of plant-based frozen meals takes its delicious Plant Chicken to a new level in a variety of dishes that will excite consumers. All of Daring’s products continue to be non-GMO, gluten-free, and made with simple ingredients featuring a super chicken-y taste and texture, which is why celebrities and investors like Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker, Drake, Steve Aoki, and Naomi Osaka can’t get enough.
The expansion demonstrates the company’s rapid growth and allows Daring to grow in a new category as it evolves from its Plant Chicken Pieces. Daring served up a full, complimentary menu of these delicious new meals at its booth and with Blackbird Foods, showcasing its new spicy collaboration, Buffalo Plant Chicken Pizza, which is planned to be released in April this year.
