Dollar General Announces Slew of Officer Promotions, Appointing 18 Executives Across Leadership Structure

It’s time to sit down and strap in, because Dollar General (DG) announced 18 executive appointments to its leadership team.

Amanda Martin, Senior Vice President, Distribution, Dollar GeneralFirst is Amanda Martin, who has joined Dollar General as Senior Vice President, Distribution. With over 20 years of operational expertise in leading transformational distribution strategies, Martin will oversee distribution strategy and execution for three of the company’s supply chain divisions.

Leslie Allen, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Dollar GeneralNext, Leslie Allen was promoted to SVP, Human Resources. In this role, she will continue to support DG’s store operations team, which now encompasses more than 20,000 retail stores. Throughout her 12-year tenure at DG, Allen has led the company’s strategy to attract and retain talent across her numerous HR roles.

Christine Connolly, Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary and Assistant General Counsel, Securities and Governance, Dollar GeneralChristine Connolly has been promoted to SVP, Corporate Secretary and Assistant General Counsel, Securities and Governance. In this role, Connolly will assist with all aspects of securities disclosure, and compliance. Additionally, Melanie Cook was promoted to SVP, Assistant General Counsel, Employment where she will continue advising the company in labor and employment matters.

Brian Haug, Senior Vice President, Margin Planning and Analytics, Dollar GeneralBrian Haug has been promoted to SVP, Margin Planning and Analytics. In this role, he leads DG’s merchandise planning and margin forecasting teams. With more than two decades of experience, Haug joined DG in 2012 and has held roles of increasing responsibility.

Tracey Herrmann, Senior Vice President, Store Operations, Dollar GeneralTracey Herrmann has been appointed SVP, Store Operations and will oversee retail operations for three of DG’s divisions, including approximately 6,500 stores. Herrmann joined DG in 2013 and over the past 11 years has served in roles of increasing responsibility as well.
