The Lone Star State is going to be welcoming three new H-E-B’s, as the retailer unrolls its expansion plan. Three new stores will be popping up in Melissa, Prosper, and Rockwall following the opening of its previously announced Allen store on October 4.
All the newly announced stores will be opening sometime in 2025, reported The Dallas Morning News, with construction starting as soon as next year. The source continued, noting H-E-B has been steadily growing its real estate in North Texas over the past 20 years. H-E-B’s new stores in Melissa, Prosper, and Rockwall will be built on land purchased more recently.
The Melissa store is being welcomed with open arms by a community dedicated to supporting local Texas businesses, the news source stated. In Rockwall, a smaller town in Texas, the H-E-B store will bring new jobs to many folks who previously had to travel out of town for work. The Prosper store joins a lively and growing community in the new Gates of Prosper retail development.
