Ingles Markets recently revealed Ronald B. Freeman will be retiring from his position as the Chief Executive Officer of the company. This has led to the promotion of Patricia (Pat) E. Jackson to the role of CFO.
Jackson joined the Ingles team in 2010. According to the release, Jackson began her career with the grocery chain as Controller. Prior to joining the team, she served as the CFO for Sisters of Mercy Services Corporation, a family of organizations dedicated to the service of its community, for over 18 years. Additionally, she is a licensed CPA and holds a master’s degree in Accounting.
Jackson has succeeded Freeman as CFO effective February 23, 2022. Freeman has announced he has retired from the company after serving the retailer and its communities for almost 17 years.
