Industry events are something we here at Deli Market News are constantly looking forward to. Stepping in to oversee the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association’s (IDDBA) trade show operations and meeting functions, Jeremy Johnson has been appointed to the newly created position of Vice President of Events.
“I am excited to take on this new challenge as we shape the future for our signature event, IDDBA 2022, and look to develop new events to serve our members and industry,” Johnson, a 25-year veteran of IDDBA, expressed regarding his recent appointment to the association’s newly established Vice President role.
According to a press release, Johnson served in multiple key roles in the Education arena and oversaw the organization’s What’s in Store Live (formerly Show & Sell Center), professional development, research, and industry relations functions. Most recently, he served as IDDBA’s Vice President of Education.
The Vice President of Events role combines IDDBA’s meetings and exhibit functions. Heather Prach, IDDBA’s current Director of Education, will continue to lead the planning and implementation of the association’s extensive educational resources.
“Johnson brings a deep knowledge of the association and our trade show to his new role, along with an exciting vision for our future,” commented Mike Eardley, the President and Chief Executive Officer of International Dairy Deli Bakery Association, on Johnson’s appointment. The excitement of this new role can be felt across the organization's team of leaders.
Congratulations to Jeremy Johnson on this exciting new role with a distinguished organization!
