Could Campbell's Soup-owned Kettle Foods soon be in a position to be sold? According to a report from Sky News, Valeo Foods Group is in advanced talks to buy Kettle Foods’ operations in both the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The news source reported that the deal could be worth up to £50 million (roughly $60 million), and if struck, would create a new snacking division at Valeo.

Campbell's Soup, which acquired Kettle Foods in 2018, has been under some pressure to put up the United Kingdom and Ireland businesses since earlier this year. However, Sky News noted that the company’s United States business would not be affected and its assets would remain untouched by Valeo.

Earlier this year, Campbell's also sold its snack firm, Kelson Group, to Ferrero for $300 million.

What other potential sales are in the company’s future? Deli Market News will continue to report.
