Ithaca Introduces New Hummus for Everyone; Chris Kirby, Stephanie Retcho, and Linda Novick O'Keefe Comment

What’s better than a delicious snack? A snack that gives back. And that is exactly what Ithaca is promising as it has announced its latest innovation, Everyone Bagel Hummus, in a commitment to donating 5 cents from every unit sold of this new launch will go to supporting community-based nonprofits.

Earlier this year, Ithaca set out to create the perfect everything bagel-flavored hummus for daily use, according to a press release, and during the process decided to change the name from everything bagel to everyone bagel to promote coming together.

Ithaca announces its latest Everyone Bagel Hummus as part of its latest commitment to give back to community-based nonprofits

The new product will be debuting nationally this month through Hungryroot, and Ithaca has already pledged its first $20,000 of available funding to Common Threads, a national nonprofit that provides nutrition education programs to under-served families and communities. Additionally, Ithaca is asking its fans to nominate other nonprofits to receive funds support next.

Throughout the fall season, Ithaca and Common Threads are partnering with Siete Family Foods to pack and donate up to 5,000 school lunches across the nation. With these lunches, kids will be offered better-for-you snack options and will be taught the importance of nutrition.

Areas that will be part of the give back include:

  • Austin, TX – Real Learning Academy
  • Houston, TX – Piney Point Elementary
  • Chicago, IL – Maria Saucedo Scholastic Academy
  • Miami, FL – Spooktacular Event (Organizations: Belafonte TACOLCY Center, Share the Boo, EmpowerU)
