A promotion has taken place at The J.M. Smucker Co. that will position the company for major brand growth in the year ahead. Beginning January 16, 2023, Rebecca Scheidler will step up as the Senior Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Foods, after having previously served as Vice President, Customer and Category Business and Vice President, Marketing, Consumer Foods.
On top of her previous experience with the company, Scheidler brings over two decades of CPG leadership to the position, a release stated. In her new role, she will lead J.M. Smucker's $1.7 billion Consumer Foods business, advancing its strategy to grow Smucker's® Uncrustables® and to further progress its snacks and spreads portfolio.
Scheidler has a background in brand-building, including experience in P&L and portfolio management, global business expansion, brand strategy and commercialization, product innovation, and more. Before joining J.M. Smucker in 2019, she held leadership positions at Bristol Myers Squibb and Kao Corporation.

She will succeed Tina Floyd, who will step down on January 13 to pursue an opportunity as Chief Executive Officer for Hudsonville Ice Cream.
