I was lucky enough to be one of the first who sampled King’s Hawaiian’s newest product at the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association show earlier this week. At the event, the brand was showing off its new Original Hawaiian Sweet Soft Pretzel Bites, which will be available at retailers nationwide this summer.
“We’re so excited for King’s Hawaiian to enter the snacking category with the launch of King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Pretzel Bites,” Holger Kraetschmer, Chief Marketing Officer, told DMN. “These are unique and true to the brand because of their soft texture, perfect combination of sweetness that consumers love our products for, and the saltiness of a pretzel. Pretzel Bites is a snack consumers can have everyday straight out of the packaging or dipped in their favorite sauce, and most importantly for us, share with their friends and family, which is what King’s Hawaiian is all about.”
King’s Hawaiian is entering the snacking category with its Original Hawaiian Sweet Soft Pretzel Bites, which can be eaten right out of the container or dipped in a favorite sauce. They come pre-salted, making it easy and convenient for consumers to snack at home or on the go, noted an announcement from the company.
Marketing support will include a 360 campaign to drive awareness and trial for Pretzel Bites, including paid media, sampling activations, PR, and foodservice partnerships. One additional partnership comes in the form of Despicable Me 4, where King’s Hawaiian Pretzel Bites will be available as part of a Mega Mayhem Combo at AMC Theaters nationwide.
