Artisan bread maker EPI Breads has found a new CEO and company leader in Cheryl Barre. EPI Breads announced earlier this month that Barre will be leading the executive team, developing and implementing a strategy for growth through new business development, enhanced operations, and acquisition.
“I am honored to be leading this ESOP company,” Barre commented. “I believe in the philosophy of sharing the wealth with those who have worked hard to make the company successful."
According to Hunt Scanlon Media, Barre is a veteran of the baking industry, having spent nine years with CSM Bakery Solutions as Senior Vice President of Business Development in North America and Global Vice President of ingredients. Previously, she served in executive roles at Arby’s, Russell Corp., and PepsiCo. Barre will be succeeding Hugh Sullins, who has transitioned to Vice President of Business Development.
“We are thrilled to have Cheryl on board at EPI,” said Nic Mulliez, Co-Founder and Chairman. “She shares our passion for exceeding customer expectations and brings us strategic vision combined with extensive experience in managing bakery operations.”
