The specialty beverage sector is gaining traction in the retail space, especially as consumers seek out inventive new spirits to incorporate into their holiday celebrations. Bringing a blast of flavor without the buzz to several new markets, Mingle Mocktails has partnered with KeHe Distributors to expand the distribution of its alcohol-free, sparkling mocktail line.
“As a brand founded on inclusivity, we see Mingle being sold and served everywhere that alcohol is sold and served so everyone feels part of the party,” said Founder and Chief Executive Officer Laura Taylor. “Our partnership with KeHE represents a huge leap forward toward that goal. The timing couldn’t be better since the non-alcoholic beverage category is poised for exponential growth.”
Taylor, a mother and business woman, gave up drinking six years ago but was inspired to launch Mingle when she was invited to a girls’ weekend where she knew there’d be social drinking, a press release noted, inspiring her to concoct a custom, alcohol-free version of a Cosmo to bring along with her. Crafted using clean and natural ingredients, the beverages are low in sugar and calories and feature no chemical additives.
With festive flavor blends inspired by popular cocktails, the innovative lineup provides consumers who don’t drink with a fun way to celebrate any and every occasion, and for shoppers who do drink, the delicious beverages can be paired with a favorite spirit to create a light cocktail.
Through its alliance with KeHe, Mingle Mocktails products will be available in four new states: California, Illinois, Indiana, and Texas, making the drinks available in nearly 2,000 retail outlets across the United States, as well as online.
Mingle Mocktails are available in five mouthwatering flavors: the original Cranberry Cosmo, Blackberry Hibiscus Bellini, Cucumber Melon Mojito, Moscow Mule, and the newest addition—Blood Orange Elderflower Mimosa. Each of the offerings comes in a choice of 750 ml bottles or 12 oz sleek cans.
This expanded distribution opens up a new opportunity for retailers, as specialty beverages and mocktails were noted as one of the rising trends in Whole Foods Market’s recent 2022 Trends Predictions.
With the holiday season in full swing, tap into the demand for specialty beverages with inventive new drinks like Mingle Mocktails.
