Meal kits are rising in popularity, and with that comes the need for high-quality and unique offerings. It seems that Blue Apron is taking up consumers on those demands, as the provider has entered a partnership with North Country Smokehouse (NCS) to offer its Applewood Smoked Uncured bacon. New menu items featuring NCS bacon include the seasonal Brunch Box; bacon and Gouda cheeseburgers; and bacon, eggs, and cheese bread pudding.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Blue Apron,” North Country Smokehouse Chief Executive Officer Aaron Corbett stated in a recent press release from the company. “We prioritize honest food with exceptional flavor, and Blue Apron built their brand on the very same values.”
Although reports of rising food costs are still circling, NCS is seeing consumers continue to find new and exciting ways to enjoy innovative cuisine, including meal kits. Blue Apron’s fresh, chef-designed meals empower home cooks to embrace their culinary curiosity in the kitchen.
The press release explained that NCS sources its pork from its very own family farms.
“Patience and persistence are part of the recipe,” said Corbett. “The bacon is incredibly balanced; it elevates any dish it’s added to.”
The co-branded North Country Smokehouse logo will be displayed on the back of the bacon packaging in Blue Apron orders. Customers can order a box as part of their subscription through Blue Apron’s website and mobile app, and without a subscription on the Blue Apron Market.
Cheers to this exciting partnership!
