Onesto Foods Awarded 2022 Mindful Award for Two Consecutive Years; Jane Ciccone Comments

Onesto Foods is on a streak of earning awards. For the second year in a row, the cracker supplier was awarded with “Cracker Product of the Year” in the 2022 Mindful Awards.

For this award, Onesto was spotlighted for its extensive sustainability efforts. The woman-owned and run company’s line of gluten-free, vegan, and non-GMO crackers are made using honest, simple ingredients, while being as eco-friendly as possible.

The company's sustainability efforts include:

• 50 percent reduction of plastic used in packaging
• Cardboard boxes made from 30 percent post-consumer recycled material
• 100 percent recyclable packaging
• Boxes made using wind and hydro energy
• Boxes printed with sustainable vegetable and soy dyes (no chemical solvents)
• Solar powered bakery
• Only 100 percent, certified non-GMO and preservative-free ingredients
