Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company Takes Home Multiple ACS Medals


POINT REYES, CA

Cheese is the stuff of life and love, and Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company knows a thing or two about both. The company lives to create cheeses that consumers and fellow cheese connoisseurs alike love, so it came as no surprise to discover that it took home five awards at this year’s American Cheese Society competition.

Point Reyes celebrates its multiple awards at this year's American Cheese Society Annual Judging and Competition

According to a press release, the award-winning cheeses included:

  • • Bay Blue, 1st Place in Blue-Veined, with rind or external coating, cows’ milk
  • • Toma, 3rd Place in American Originals, original recipe, cows’ milk
  • • Toma Provence, 3rd Place in American Originals, flavors added, cows’ milk
  • • Pimento Cheese, 1st Place (tie) in Cold-Pack Cheese, flavors added, all milks
  • • Original Blue & Date Spread, 1st Place (tie) in Cold-Pack Cheese, flavors added, all milks
