Stateside consumers should be gearing up for a little taste of Italy, as Soleterra d’Italia has brought its high-quality Italian salamis to the United States. With this expansion, the company has introduced a host of salami formats to the market, each inspired by traditional salamis from different areas in Europe.
“We’re excited to be launching Soleterra d’Italia salami in Bristol Farms and DPI West and know our quality and unique flavor experience will resonate with their consumers and differentiate their deli offerings,” said Tara Oliviere, National Accounts Manager USA. “We’re proud to share our products with retailers in the USA and looking forward to sharing new products currently under development.”
Soleterra d’Italia started in 2016 with production located in Modena, Italy, according to a press release. In 2018, the provider built a new 65,000-square-foot facility in Alberta, Canada, and began producing authentic Simonini family recipes with superior quality Sunterra Farms pork.
While they are crafted in North America, Soleterra d’Italia’s products are developed in an Italian way, as the company relies on the nation’s expertise in both building the new production facility and making products exactly as they would be made in Italy. The Italian meat maven produces a full line of salami in a variety of formats: pre-sliced, chubs, snacking sticks, and full-service deli slicing logs.
The company’s innovative and flavorful lineup includes:
In addition, the company also offers a wonderful steamed Italian ham, called Prosciutto Cotto, available in both traditional and herbed with rosemary varieties.
