Another banger is hitting grocery snacking shelves with the release of Wonderful® Pistachios’ newest flavor. All flavor, no shells, and a delicious blend of seasoning, shoppers will be eager to grab Sea Salt & Pepper No Shells.

Already available as an In-Shell variety, this latest offering is giving consumers a convenient way to enjoy the pistachios they love without the hassle of removing the shells. The In-Shell variety already has a loyal following, with 60 percent of shoppers purchasing only that flavor. With the No Shell format, it’s a no-brainer as shoppers can go straight to the delicious center without the work. As stated in a release, the flavor joins other popular varieties, including Sea Salt & Vinegar, Smoky Barbecue, Chili Roasted, and Honey Roasted.
Since establishing the lineup in 2019, No Shell flavors have helped drive incremental brand growth, accounting for 85 percent of total flavored snack nut growth in 2021, according to IRI.
The new Wonderful Pistachios No Shells Sea Salt & Pepper adds a dash of excitement to snacking, bringing a combination of bold sea salt and spicy black pepper. Pistachios contain 6 g of protein and 3 g of fiber per serving, making Wonderful Pistachios a smart and healthy snack option.
The new variety will be available in 5.5 oz, 11 oz, 22 oz, and 2.25 oz bags throughout the United States and Canada. It will also be available as part of a 72-count display with Wonderful Pistachios No Shells Sea Salt & Vinegar.
To support the launch of Wonderful Pistachios No Shells Sea Salt & Pepper, a dedicated No Shells flavor campaign will be kicking off this summer.
