Following the many different outdoor festivities consumers had the chance to enjoy this weekend, grilling is remaining top of mind for many. As shoppers look for more ways to create tantalizing meals on the grill, Zatarain’s Smoked Sausage has teamed up with nine esteemed grill masters and chefs to develop unique recipes featuring Andouille and Cajun flavors.
Each of these culinary experts has developed innovative twists to time-tested favorites, offering consumers inspiring new ways to utilize the meat maven’s delicious products.
Acclaimed celebrity chef and PBS star Kevin Belton has created a new dish to push shoppers to “go big or go home,” which will be revealed on the company’s Instagram over the Fourth of July. At-home chefs The Grill Dads will be crafting a jambalaya burrito with Zatarain’s mouthwatering smoked sausage smothered in a Cajun cream sauce, according to a company release.
In addition to these exciting new recipes, culinary experts Kirklan Collins, Katherine Salom, and Phillip Fryman will share their own unique twists on the Sausage Dog, while Lauren Nagle will prepare a Low Country Boil-inspired charcuterie board featuring perfectly seared Zatarain’s Smoked Sausage, grilled corn, green beans, and red potatoes, as noted in the release.
Decorated chef Derek Campanile will provide a Cajun spin to the traditional Spanish Paella by topping it with a Jambalaya Kabob. Other chefs like Mike Elender will introduce consumers to Pig Shots, a delicious grilled delicacy, while Jack Arnold delivers an unmatched flavor with his take on jambalaya.
