An old favorite is making its way back to Firehouse Subs using King's Hawaiian® Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls.

If you have any doubts, behold. Firehouse Subs Founders Robin and Chris Sorenson doing the hoola, wearing flowered leis, and Robin wearing a particularly loud but fun luau shirt in this recently debuted television commercial.

Don’t believe me? Watch the short video below.

The two founders are getting into Hawaii-mode to support the return of Firehouse Subs’ limited menu item, King’s Hawaiian® Pork & Slaw Sandwich, which features King’s Hawaiian® bread toasted and encasing 12-hour pit-smoked pulled pork, pepper jack cheese, and fresh Hawaiian coleslaw.

Robin Sorensen, Co-Founder, Firehouse Subs“Firehouse Subs is bringing back an old favorite,” Robin Sorensen says in the short segment, adding some tantalizing visuals to the description of what the King’s Hawaiian® Pork & Slaw Sandwich entails.

While the Firehouse website does warn that the featured sub is only available for a limited time, it is also a summer custom going back to 2011.
