Lee Delaney, known retail industry leader and strategist, has just been named BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc.’s new Executive Vice President, Chief Growth Officer.

I look forward to working with BJ's executives, merchants, and all of BJ's Team Members to unlock the tremendous value I see in this segment of the market."
Delaney brings a plethora of experience to this latest position, most recently having been a partner in Bain & Company’s Boston office working as a leader for the firm's Consumer Products practice. He advised clients on corporate strategy, created new market entry plans, supported client acquisitions, and advised on large cost reduction programs, BJ’s said.

Cameron Breitner, Partner of CVC Capital Partners, added that Delaney is highly regarded in the retail industry for developing growth strategies for retail and consumer products companies, while Jonathan Seiffer, Senior Partner at Leonard Green & Partners added that the new VP is a proven leader in the retail industry that will help BJ’s leadership team further establish the company as a leading player in the U.S. retail landscape.
Delaney will be responsible for governing BJ's merchandising and supply chain organization, reporting directly to Baldwin. His new role officially goes into effect Monday, May 9th.
