Pizza Hut is rolling out a new value-priced menu to kick off the New Year.
The chain began to introduce the $5 Flavor Menu at its restaurants on Monday, January 4, offering consumers several options ranging from a medium one-topping pizza to breadsticks or pasta and various desserts. A full list of items can be found below.
Jeff Fox, Pizza Hut’s Chief Brand and Concept Officer, said in a statement that the company wanted to create its most flavor-filled and broadly appealing value menu ever in the food category – an idea that isn’t quite as common in the pizza category.
“We know that five dollars for a pizza from America’s favorite pizza company is a heck of a deal,” he said in a press release. “We are thrilled to be bringing consumers all of these high-quality Pizza Hut choices at a time when value is really top-of-mind.”
This new menu is another step in Pizza Hut’s commitment to provide consumers with value-priced meals. Last year, the chain added a $6.99 ANY pairs deal that included any two medium pizzas – specialties or create-your-own – for $6.99 each. The company also introduced the Triple Treat Box in November 2015, which includes two medium one-topping pizzas, breadsticks, and Hershey’s Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie for $19.99. In 2015, Pizza Hut also became one of the first national pizza companies to remove artificial flavors and colors from its core pizzas.
“Our single-minded consumer promise is to make it easy for them to get a better Pizza Hut pizza, as well as all of our flavorful food,” Fox continued. “One way we’re able to do that is by offering a variety of compelling quality options for $5 each.”
It’s unclear how long this new menu will be available.
