America's original bacon race is back. The Patrick Cudahy® "Race for the Bacon" 5k Run and Walk is returning for its fourth-annual installment on Thursday, July 30 at Sheridan Park in Cudahy, WI. A portion of the event's proceeds will benefit the Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter of the JDRF.

The race begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be chip-timed.
As an extra incentive to speed towards the finish line, the first 125 finishers will receive a package of Patrick Cudahy fully-cooked bacon. Prizes will also be awarded for the top-three fastest male and female finishers. All participants will receive a ticket to the post-race Bacon Bash and everyone will also get a cool race shirt and goody bag. New this year is a 0K, where bacon-lovers can come and enjoy the evening activities.
The excitement doesn't end at the finish line. From 7-9 p.m., the Bacon Bash will take place in Picnic Area #1, just east of Sheridan Drive and Layton Avenue. It includes delicious bacon treats, a free beverage from Sprecher®and the choice of water or soda.

The Say Hey to Patrick Cudahy photo booth will be available for everyone to capture their bacon-racing memories and a band will be playing live music for everyone in attendance.
