Advantage Sales and Marketing to Acquire Tri-Venture Marketing, Inc.


Advantage Sales & Marketing LLC has announced plans to acquire food brokerage company Tri-Venture Marketing, Inc., “The Perishable Connection”® on October 16, 2013. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Eugene Giddens and Jeff White, who previously served as Chief Executive Officer and President respectively, will lead the new business unit which will operate as “Advantage Tri-Venture,” according to a press release.

Giddens states that the company and its associates are thrilled to be a part of the ASM family and that its mission, vision, and values are consistent with Tri-Venture’s company culture. “We are confident Advantage Tri-Venture will offer expanded services, leading technology, and industry insights and will continue to drive growth for both our clients and customers,” said Giddens.

“Tri-Venture has delivered best-in-class service to the perishables industry for more than three decades,” said Tanya Domier, ASM chief executive officer. “We are pleased to enhance our perishables service portfolio to include Tri-Venture’s expertise, talent, and industry relationships.”

Tri-Venture is a leader in sales and marketing of perishable products, focusing on meat, deli, bakery, cheese, seafood, produce, and frozen clients and customers. The new business unit will continue to be based in Lakeland, Florida.
