Alexian is releasing its Paté of the Month, eggplant and goat cheese.
This flavorful mix of roasted peppers, pureed eggplant, and goat cheese is a meatless delight.
However, it is specified that the paté is not truly vegetarian, as it contains gelatin. Nonetheless, the zesty balance of salty cheese, smooth eggplant puree and tomato puree are offset by parsley, salt, spices and garlic.
Eggplant and goat cheese are a common pairing, and are wonderful in everything from pastas to gourmet salads.
Enjoy this lovely paté paired with salad, lettuce wraps, cheeses, or tartines.
