ST. LOUIS, MO
Anchor Packaging, Inc. is adding a new line to its award-winning products under the MicroRaves® trademark.
Incorporating ergonomic design, a reduction of petroleum-based materials, and an upscale presentation, the company is calling its “Wave” series the future in packaging, according to a press release.
Coming in 9” x 6” containers that are designed with smooth, clean lines for easy use and spoon-able inside surface, the Wave series has a vented, polypropylene dome lid that prevents condensation or fogging by using an integral Clear Guard™ anti-fog technology.
The new line is designed with a modern, contemporary style to attract the impulse buyer with its black outside shine and table-ready presentation. But don’t let its appearance make you underestimate its durability.
According to the company, the Wave has three leak-resistant lids fitting each of the line’s polypropylene bases, withstanding temperatures up to 230°F in warming units, under heat lamps, or in the microwave, and providing no need to re-plate chilled, prepared foods. The high clarity RPET lids (both flat and dome) include cold anti-fog technology to offer good food visibility and, when combined with the microwavable bases, drive increased sales from chilled grab ‘n go displays.
The company’s new line looks to maximize hot-case merchandising opportunities for retailers, eliminate the room for error in takeout for foodservice operators, still managing to present food that looks both fresh and appealing.
The Wave line’s polypropylene lids and bases are dishwasher safe, made with FDA approved post-consumer recycled content and able to be recycled curbside, and are available in 16, 24, and 32 ounce sizes.
Anchor’s products can be found in most foodservice operations and includes stock and custom rigid packaging, plus a broad line of cling-film wraps.
