Anchor Packaging is announcing the addition of its new Embraceable™ oval platter and dome lid to the MicroRaves line of high heat polypropylene products, according to a press release.
The new oval platter is 11" x 8" and was designed with a locator ring in the bottom to hold a standard 8 ounce paper food container. This means
both containers are covered by a single lid.
As the release from Anchor states, "one lid doing double duty!"
The dome lid holds the paper container in place and keeps food contained. The leak-resistant closure design prevents messy spills and provides a secure lid fit.
The inner 8 ounce container is perfect for chili, soups, oatmeal, grits, mac & cheese, and many other side dishes that often accompany a main dish, sandwich or salad.
The Embraceable oval platter has a clear, anti-fog, vented PP lid which keeps food looking fresh and appetizing, while also eliminating order errors due to lack of visibility.
The base and dome work well for hot foods under heat lamps, chilled ready-to-heat meals, and for various cold food applications. The black PP bases withstand temperatures up to 230°F.
These bases are made using renewable mineral additives, which reduces the use of petroleum-based resin by up to 40%.
