Artisanal Brands has announced that its President and CEO, Daniel W. Dowe, has been elected to the Board of Directors of The National Association for the Specialty Food Trade. The NASFT is a not-for-profit business trade association that fosters trade, commerce and interest in the specialty food industry. NASFT is composed of domestic and foreign manufacturers, importers, distributors, brokers, retailers, restaurateurs, caterers and others in the specialty foods business. It is an international organization. The organization has more than 2,900 current member companies internationally.
Daniel W. Dowe, President and CEO of Artisanal Brands commented, “I’m honored to be a part of NASFT’s Board and look forward to offering my own experience in the specialty foods business and specifically with the artisan cheese movement to assist the member with the development of their businesses.
