Atlanta Foods International and Gourmet Foods International are welcoming the addition of a new member to the team. The company has announced Michael Landis as the Training Manager of the Institut du Fromage. Mr. Landis brings more than ten years of experience to his new position in teaching and writing about Specialty Cheese. He is also a Certified Cheese Professional with the American Cheese Society. He was inducted into the Guilde Internationale des Fromages in 2011. He has been a world cheese judge at both the International Cheese Awards in Nantwich, England and the World Cheese Awards in Birmingham, England for the past 3 years, according to a press release.
In his new position, Mr. Landis is responsible for all aspects of training at the Institut du Fromage. He is also responsible for conducting local and regional seminars at the institute located in Atlanta, Denver, Lakeland, and Pompano Beach. The Institut du Fromage is an elite cheese education institute, focused on spreading knowledge and understanding of cheese to professionals in the food industry.
