Bob's Red Mill to Debut Six New Grain Products at Natural Products Expo West


Next week at National Products Expo West in Anaheim, CA, Bob's Red Mill Natural Foods will be formally unveiling a number of new products, and DeliMarket TV has obtained a sneak preview.

Bob's Red Mill will introduce two new gluten-free granolas, three new quinoa products and a new nut flour. All of these are gluten-free. "One of our main goals is to be as responsive as possible to what consumers are seeking for their diets," said Bob Moore, Founder, President and CEO of Bob’s Red Mill. "With these six new products, we are providing simple, wholesome foods that will appeal to a wide range of consumers, whether or not they eat gluten free."

Gluten Free Granolas: The company has offered a variety of popular granola products for years, but these two new additions represent the first gluten free granola varieties. New Gluten Free Honey Oat Granola and Gluten Free Apple Blueberry Granola are both made from oats grown in fields dedicated to gluten free crops. The granolas are handled in a 100% dedicated gluten free facility. The company also assures us that batches are tested for quality control to ensure the utmost safety.

Quinoas: These new products will be joining the Bob's Red Mill Grains of Discovery Line. New Organic Red Quinoa, Organic Tri-Color Quinoa, and Organic Quinoa (now available in the smaller 16 oz. package size.)

Natural Almond Meal: The company has seen its alternative flours - particularly its nut flours - rise in popularity in recent years. Bob's Red Mill is now offering a new option for those who follow the paleo, grain-free or gluten-free diets. Natural Almond Meal is great for adding extra richness to baked goods. Natural Almond Meal is made from whole almonds milled with their skin intact. This meal is virtually unprocessed and can be used in a variety of baked good recipes.

Stop by and try the new products! Each day of the show, the company will be sampling the following:

Morning hours: Gluten Free Granola Parfait.
Lunch hours: Vegetable Bounty Tri-Colored Quinoa Salad with Asian Vinaigrette, a dish developed by renowned Portland chef Naomi Pomeroy.
Afternoon hours: Bob’s Red Mill Natural Almond Meal Almond Chocolate Chip Cookies, made from a paleo-friendly recipe developed by Bob’s Red Mill Food Innovation Chef Sarah House.

Also during show hours each day, Company Founder Bob Moore will be signing copies of his biography, "People Before Profit," as well as copies of a cookbook called, "The Power of Flour: Cooking With Non-traditional Flours."
