Sliced-to-order deli meats, pre-sliced deli meats and summer sausages are joining Cracker Barrel Old Country Store's CB Old Country Store™ licensed products, which are available for purchase in retail establishments. According to a press release, this roll-out is the latest step in the company's strategy for its licensed products.
“All of these new products are high-quality and we expect them to resonate well with our loyal guests,” said Ed Greene, Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. “We have made these products available at an opportune time now that school has started back and parents pack lunches for children.”
The sliced-to-order deli meats come in 5 varieties, including smoked ham, sweet ham, black forest ham, pan roasted turkey breast and oven roasted chicken breast. Cracker Barrel says it has plans in place to add honey smoked turkey breast and Applewood smoked turkey breast flavors later in the year.
Similarly, there are four varieties of pre-sliced deli meats. These meats come in sweet ham, black forest ham, roasted turkey breast and oven roasted chicken breast.
Finally, Cracker Barrel shares that it has partnered with a national retailer in order to highlight its beef jerky and new summer sausage through a large promotional effort during the fall and holiday season.
