CHICAGO, IL
Together with Dunkin' Donuts, Eckrich is launching a new fall sweepstakes in which one lucky fan will be able to win a seat in the Richard Petty Driving Experience. According to a press release, the Richard Petty Driving Experience lets riders have a real NASCAR experience, just like the driver of the famous No. 43 Eckrich Richard Petty Motorsports Ford, driving at break-neck speeds behind the wheel of a stock car on a 1.5 mile oval track.
"We're pleased to continue our partnership with Dunkin' Donuts and work together on some very special promotions," said Michael Baughman, Director of Marketing for the John Morrell Food Group. "We're looking forward to the Chicago race weekend and sharing all of the thrills and excitement that the sport has to offer with our fans firsthand."
In order to enter, fans can submit a 150 word or less essay explaining to Eckrich why they are the top race fan. According to a press release, entries can be submitted to the Dunkin' Chicago Facebook page. The grand prize winner will receive a certificate to the Richard Petty Driving Experience, an Eckrich Smoked Sausage gift basket, and a $50 Dunkin' Donuts gift card.
In additon, Eckrich and Dunkin' Donuts have annouced that they will be participating in the Race Fan Rally on Thursday, September 11, 2014 in Joliet, IL. They will be displaying the Eckrich mobile unit at the Rally, featuring the No. 43 Eckrich show car and a wide variety of games for attending families to enjoy. Finally, they will be passing out coupons for free Dunkin' Dogs, a delicious Eckrich Cheddar Smoked Sausage, wrapped in soft, sweet dough.
