Emmi Roth USA is welcoming Tim Omer, DCI Cheese Company’s former CEO and President, as its new President and Managing Director. He will be responsible for helping underpin the company’s position as an artisanal-centered, cheese-driven organization, according to a press release.
Matthias Kunz, Chairman of the Board of Emmi Roth USA, praised Omer and his 25 years of specialty cheese industry experience, calling him a “true insider to domestic and imported specialty cheeses.”
“Tim brings a deep and thorough knowledge that will be instrumental in helping our company continue to grow. We view this appointment as a sign of our commitment to being one of the leading companies in our industry,” said Kunz.
Omer commented, “I am excited to start a new challenge with one of the finest cheese companies in the world, and am fortunate to have the opportunity to lead a group of passionate team members that are committed to the highest quality products and service.”
Omer received his bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Steven’s Point and MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In 2004, Omer was the recipient of the Ernst and Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” award for Wisconsin.
