Food Network's Upcoming New "Rewrapped" Show Features America's Most Iconic Snacks


NEW YORKThe Food Network is bringing America’s most iconic snacks to your home television in “Rewrapped,” a new culinary challenge that asks competitors to recreate their own snack food as close to the original as possible and even create entirely new dishes using a snack as an ingredient, according to a press release. The thirteen episode series will premiere on Monday, April 21st at 8:00 pm ET/PT and will be hosted by former *NSYNC star Joey Fatone and will feature a rotating panel of guest judges, including Food Network personality Marc Summers (Unwrapped). The winner of each episode will win a year’s supply of the snack. “Food can be a glimpse into our past, bringing up emotions of what we enjoyed and the way we grew up,” said Bob Tuschman, General Manager and Senior Vice President Programming, Food Network. “Viewers will get to relive their childhood with these classic brands, and see some pretty inventive and tasty ways to enjoy them along the way.” Some of the snacks that will appear on the show include Hostess Twinkies and CupCakes, Pepperidge Farm Cheddar Goldfish Crackers and Mint Chocolate Milano Cookies, Entenmann’s Rich Frosted Donuts and Original Recipe Chocolate Chip Cookies, SpaghettiOs with Meatballs, Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpets and Glazed Cherry Pies, Herr’s Potato Chips, Utz Pretzel Rods, Wise Cheez Waffies, and the Outback Bloomin’ Onion.
