Former Trader Joe's President Doug Rauch to Speak at Summer Fancy Food Show

Trader Joe’s former President and current Conscious Capitalism, Inc. CEO Doug Rauch will be at the Summer Fancy Food Show to share his latest venture: Daily Table.

"Every year we strive to present speakers who provide new insights into what drives our industry, which is constantly evolving."

According to the release, Daily Table is a retail venture designed to provide healthy, ready-to-eat meals at fast-food prices while still providing fresh produce and other items to individuals dealing with hunger. The first location reportedly opened last month in Dorcester, Massachusetts.

Rauch will discuss Daily Table in his session “How to Do Good While Doing Well in the Marketplace." Other seminars and highlights for the Summer Fancy Food Show include:

Another speaker in the lineup is Culinary Tides President Suzy Badaracco, who is set to discuss food and flavor trends across generations, as well as examine the difference in consumer behavior between the generations, according to the release.

The Summer Fancy Food Show is reportedly one of North America's largest trade events for the specialty food industry. Owned and produced by the Specialty Food Association, the show is scheduled to take place from June 28th to the 30th at the Javits Center in New York City, New York.

To hear Rauch’s session, plan for some time in the big city’s Javits Center on Monday, June 29th from 10 to 11 a.m.
