Harris Teeter has announced the opening of two new stores on August 22, 2012, located in Mint Hill, NC and Matthews, NC. The company plans to celebrate the grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony along and weekend activities to give customers the opportunity to meet the stores’ management teams.
Harris Teeter acquired the new Mint Hill Pavilion and Idlewild Market locations earlier this year through the company’s purchase agreement with Lowe’s Food Stores, Inc. The 51,000 square foot locations were closed in June for remodeling, and will reopen under the Harris Teeter banner on August 22 at 8am. The locations will feature a full service meat department, fishermans market, farmers market produce, full service fresh foods market deli/bakery, international cheeses, artisan breads, Boar’s Head meats and cheeses, self serve olives, and slicing meats and cheeses.
