Heinz Ketchup has announced the 12 winners of its sixth annual 2012 Heinz Ketchup Creativity™ Contest. This nationwide competition allowed students to share their love of America’s Favorite Ketchup® by designing an original piece to appear on the Heinz Ketchup packet. Winners will have their art replicated and distributed on more than 1.5 million packets, which will be disbursed to food service establishments and restaurants across the country. According to a press release, each winner will receive a cash reward of $1,000 as well as $1,000 for his or her school and $1,000 worth of Heinz Ketchup.
Heinz left an open platform for the K-12 students, only requiring they use the standard entry template sized for the packet, use Heinz traditional colors, and feature the Heinz Ketchup keystone label or bottle image.
“We were so impressed with the level of artistry and sheer imagination demonstrated by thousands of students across the country,” stated Nicole Hoelke, Senior Brand Manager for Heinz Ketchup. “It’s truly inspiring to see so many talented young artists dream up their very own design using Heinz Ketchup packets as their canvas and show both their creativity and passion for America’s Favorite Ketchup™.”
This year, approximately 115,000 artistic entries were submitted from schools countrywide. To see the winning designs, visit www.KetchupCreativity.com.
