"What we really wanted to do was... beef jerky and jerky in general has normally been relegated to the gas station - something people generally associate with tobacco juice. And the product, when you actually make it the right way, is a very healthy snack. It's all-natural, it's gluten-free...and I founded this company in preparation for the New York Marathon. I was reaching for this for a high-protein, low calorie diet."
This isn't your typical gas station beef jerky. Billed as "healthy gourmet jerky," this is a far cry from the typically processed fare, which uses low quality ingredients. As Sabastiani explains, "We have a proprietary manufacturing process. One of the most important things that we wanted to do is make this jerky tender. So that when you bit into this, you're not actually tearing and chewing, you know creating a sore jaw."
These great products are paired with different alcohols, to provide a more interesting experience. Pairings recommended include Turkey Jerky paired with Sauvignon blanc, Garlic Chili Beef Jerky with beer, and Black Cherry BBQ paired with whiskey. Krave Jerky Good Day Sacramento
