Kroger is gearing up to offer Murray’s Cheese Shops in three of its Ohio locations. The well-respected cheese store will be set up on August 12, 2012 in its new locations and will give customers access to 175 specialty cheeses. The new cheese “island” in the deli section will feature cheeses, crackers, olives, vinegars, prosciutto, salami, and a full antipasti bar.
Jackie Siekmann, a spokeswoman for Kroger, states, “One of the biggest changes will be our associates. We sent them to New York for training. They have to earn a red jacket before they’re allowed to sell cheese.”
