McAlister’s® Deli has recently announced that restaurant chain veteran Carin Stutz has been appointed as President of the company, effective November 17, 2014, according to a press release.
“Carin’s vast experience in building great teams, creating brand differentiation, driving operations, and delivering results make her an ideal candidate for the position,” said Steve DeSutter, FOCUS Brands CEO. “I feel confident that McAlister’s will continue to thrive under her leadership and industry expertise.”
Most recently, Carin served as President and CEO of Cosi. Prior to that, she was President, Global Business Development at Brinker International, the parent company of Chili’s Bar & Grill and Maggiano’s; EVP of Operations for Applebee’s; and Division Vice President of Wendy’s International.
In other recent news, McAlister’s has also said that it will be expanding throughout the Houston, TX area with 10 locations as part of an agreement with new franchise Southwest Concepts, LLC.
