Première Moisson and Metro Inc. are partnering together to expand the market for the high quality artisan breads and pastries that Première Moisson bakeries are famous for.

While Metro will now enjoy a majority interest in the bakery company, Première Moisson's founding family, the Colpron-Fiset family, will retain 25% of their company's capital as well as the freedom to manage the company in the way they deem necessary.

It is worth noting that Première Moisson workers need not fear for their jobs in the wake of the partnership agreement. In fact, the partnership explicitly provides for the maintenance of all such jobs as well as existing partnerships in place with bakery-owners.
Première Moisson has been making gourmet breads, pastries, and charcuterie products for Canadian consumers since 1992.
