Nathan’s Famous is making an official attempt to set a Guinness World Record™ that has nothing to do with hot dogs.
The self-proclaimed “originator of fun” seeks the title of Most Selfies Taken Simultaneously, which it will attempt to set at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri, this Saturday, May 16th.
"There is absolutely no better way to kick-off our Original Selfie Sweepstakes than attempting a Guinness World Records™ title for Most Selfies Taken at one time, with our partners at Schnucks Supermarkets and the St. Louis Cardinals," Mike Paribello, Sr. Director of Marketing at Nathan's Famous, said in a press release. "We're thrilled that eight-time defending National Hot Dog Eating Contest Champion Joey Chestnut will be with us for the attempt, and hope we fill the stadium with Cardinals' fans.”
Nathan’s Famous’s Original Selfie Sweeptakes, which encourages fans to post selfies all summer long for chances to win instant prizes, as well as the opportunity for monthly grand prizes, officially opens on May 18th, at 12 a.m. EDT.
"The best part is that all of the fans who participate [at Busch Stadium] can then enter the sweepstakes when it officially opens on Monday, May 18, for a chance to win some incredible prizes," Paribello said.
