Nathan’s Famous® is introducing a new 50% reduced-fat variety for 2015’s health conscious shoppers.
The company unveiled the new product along with a first look at its updated packaging, which features bold, high-impact graphics and easy to read product labeling.
“It’s important for us to always find new ways to please those who enjoy Nathan’s,” said Wayne Norbitz, President of Nathan’s Famous, Inc. “Our 50-percent, Reduced Fat Beef Franks variety is a great solution for those looking for a healthier option, but still craving the taste they have come to expect from Nathan’s Famous.”
With half the fat of traditional Beef Franks, these skinless beef franks are made with lean beef and Nathan’s original seasonings, according to a press release. Like all of Nathan’s Famous products, this new offering is also gluten-free and contains no artificial flavors, colors or by-products.
As for the packaging, the signature yellow and green awning surrounding the brand logo makes it easy for consumers to find the company’s famous frankfurter. A Nathan’s Famous marquee will also be prominently featured on the new design, serving as a reminder that it is “The Original” Nathan’s Famous from Coney Island, NY since 1916.
“We really wanted to bring the packaging to life and highlight the brands authenticity,” added Norbitz. “This will also make it easy for new and existing consumers who love Nathan’s Famous to easily pick it our in the grocery aisle and enjoy Nathan’s Famous at home.”
The new 50% reduced fat beef franks and the updated packaging is currently available in grocers nationwide.
