MECHANICSVILLE, VA
Olli Salumeria has been named a finalist for Outstanding New Product in the Specialty Food Association’s 2014 sofi™ Award competition. The company’s Norcino Salamini is one of the only meat items out of the ten finalists selected in the new product category, according to a press release.
First of its kind in the market, Salamini are ready-to-serve, bite-sized salame morsels. Olli currently offers three varieties of Salamini – Napoli, Pepperoni, Calabrese, and Norcino.
“All of our items are crafted with the greatest of care and being named a finalist speaks to our passion, integrity, and innovation in the category,” Jennifer Johnson, Director of Marketing, tells us. “Salamini are not just an easy addition to an antipasto platter, but they are the perfect, quick addition to a lunchbox or on-the-go snack.”
Olli’s salamini contain no nitrates or nitrites, they are made from pork raised 100% vegetarian fed that have never been administered antibiotics, and they are gluten-free.
